Room 9 Enviro Project

Cans for Charity This year Room 9 has been collecting cans. This is a great way to reduce landfill and we get the added benefit of raising money for charity by selling the cans we collect to a local metal recycler. Last term we collected enough cans to raise $19.20. The children brainstormed a range of charities they would like to support then voted on recipients for Term 1 and 2. The $19.20 will be given to the SPCA and this terms target charity will be Plunket. Please ensure that any cans donated are clean as dirty cans will not be accepted by the recycler and can attract wasps in the classroom. Thank you all for your continuing support.
